I liked the quote I used in my title, so I thought I'd share it ^^.

Anyway, this afternoon I went out to eat with Josh; he's a good friend. It was really nice because I don't get to see him much anymore since I graduated (he's now a senior in HS). Around 1:45 he came over and picked me up in his brand new (awesome) truck and we went to Firehouse Subs to eat. Yum. We were there for about 30-45 minutes eating and talking, catching up on what's going on in eachother's lives and such. He really is a true friend, and a sweet guy.

Let's see.. oh yes. Yesterday, I received an IM from a friend whom I hadn't talked to in like six months. It was good to hear from her and find out that she's working at the H.E.B. near my house and that she's going to college now: I'm proud of her. (She ended up getting her GED I believe)

Right now, I'm talking to a friend who graduated in my class, and I haven't talked to her since like.. late July/early August, so that's pretty cool as well. She too has started college. Yay, it's good to talk to friends ^^.

---------------------------------------------

I just wanted to update and say that my dad talked to the guy about my job, and the guy still doesn't know what the firetruck is going on so ergo, I don't know what's going on. I should have the job, but I don't know when I'll be starting. Argh, frustration!

---------------------------------------------

I'm soo relieved right now.. I was about to post this when my Internet froze on me. I had to sign off and sign back on, and I was pissed because I thought I'd lost my entire post.. I signed back online and got on LJ, and clicked 'Post'... and it had kept this for me! ::Hugs LJ.::

Indeed. See, at least you're lucky and you don't have dial up like I do. ::growls:: Dial up is the most useless piece of technology available, seriously. AOL loves to freeze and make it so you have to sign off and sign back on. I'm just glad that LJ isn't mean like that.

Hope you have/had fun today!
