I finally got an icon as you may have noticed.. it's a cartoon version of Slipknot's lead singer Corey Taylor (I believe that only Ben would find this interesting out of the small group of friends I have who read my journal.) Woot for iconage!

Right now I have Call Me When You're Sober from Evanescence stuck in my head. Awesome song but the chorus is the only part that's repeating over and over again in my head. The Open Door from Evanescence is out in stores on October 3rd.. GO BUY IT! :)

There are two birthday's (that I know of..) coming up this week! And guess what, they're both on the same day! Yay for twins! Mhm.. Twin's birthday and my birthday are both on Saturday! Happy birthday to us... happy birthday to us... happy birthday to us... happy birthday to us! Same day, just different ages. Yay. What I want: A dollar. A nice pretty dollar. That's all. Nothing more. ^^

Ok, well, that's all I know.. so yea, I'm off to cause mischief and all that good stuff.

Behold the Power of CHEESE [Sep. 16th, 2006|12:18 pm]
[Current Location |A Sleep Induced State]
[mood |sleepysleepy]
[music |Flavor of the Week - American Hi-Fi]

Another random post coming straight out of the confusing world inside my head. Even I don't know what's in my own head, it's too weird in there :P.

Anyway, babysitting went fine lastnight.. I babysat from 7:45pm until 2:30am and made $40.00 so in two days of babysitting I've made $64.00.. yay! I was bored out of my mind though, because the kids went to bed at about 9:20 so I was virtually alone in the house for about five hours. I didn't use the TV because it's satellite and they couldn't find one of the two or three remotes that runs the dang thing, so it was a silent five hours, save for the time I was rescued by Ducky on my cell phone.

I was smart enough to bring a small note pad and a pen (poetry!), and my electronic Sudoku game to keep myself occupied, but even those grew old. So I resorted eventually to picking up this "Encyclopedia of All Things YUCK!" to read.. it had information on "yucky" things like farts, pimples, edible insects, blood, cockroaches, things like that. But after reading that for about an hour I decided to just sit in front of the front door and stare out the window (pathetic).. which I did for an hour and a half straight. I tell ya, I had no idea that so many people in my neighborhood were up out at 1:30 and 2:00 in the morning.

Anywho, tonight I'm free to go out and have fun. I know that the Raccoon is free to go out, but the Duck has some note cards to get made before she can exit the house. Hopefully she'll get those done and then it can be the Duck, the Squirrel and the Raccoon out causing trouble once again (insert evil cackle)!

So yea.. I'm off to investigate other LJ's on here to see what I may have missed in the daily lives of my friends.

I love you all.

The Squirrely One

PS: Thank you again for keeping me sane, Ducky.

[music |Bittersweet Symphony - Verve]

Turn of events - I get a call yesterday from the lady I babysit/sat for and she wanted to know if we were still on for Friday. Shocker! So I said sure and she's going to call me today or early tomorrow to let me know the exact time that she wants me over.. she told me yesterday that it'd be somewhere between 7:30 and 8:00pm. I have no idea how long she wants me to be there for so I may or may not get the night to myself.

It's... 18 days (I believe) until The Open Door from Evanescence comes out --mega woot!--. If I can, I'll be going out and buying it that day. ::crosses fingers:: There are so many different CD's I'm currently drooling over..
How to Save a Life by The Fray, What's Left of Me by Nick Lachey, Two by Earshot, Failed by Blue October, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out by Panic! At the Disco, The Paramour Sessions by Papa Roach, and the Resident Evil: Apocalypse movie soundtrack. Not that anyone cares lol.

CRAMPS are no fun. I'll leave it at that.

I went to the mall that I used to work at today.. well one of the three.. the LAST one I worked at (no names mentioned) and saw that a store's finally taken our place from when we were there. It was pretty fucking upsetting considering they kept the tile, the swinging door, the bevelled glass and the counter design that we already had. All they did was change the tile by the menu board and change the neon sign with their name. Pisses me off and saddens me. <:( That's all for now. Much love, Squirrel

The title of this entry is self explanitory.. well, for anyone who watched Season 7 of Big Brother anyway.

Right now I'm kind of in an "eh" kind of mood. I'm not going to go all "emo" and be like "OMG LYFE SUCKS LYKE WHOA!" because that's just not me. I will say however that I've been in much better moods.
There's just a lot of crap going on in my life and it's not just affecting me, it's affecting my entire family.

All I'm saying is that I would give almost anything to go back to senior year. Hell, I'd even give almost anything to go back to junior year.. anything but post graduation. So much has changed since graduation.. yet so much has remains the same if that makes any sense (which by all rights it shouldn't.) Junior year was a simple year that turned confusing; senior year was a fun year that had many unpleasant ups and downs.. but overall was worth every minute.

With all of that said, I'm going to finish my Fresca and sit here pondering what else.. the meaning of life! (inside joke)

Yours Eternally -

The Squirrel

[music |The Bad Touch - The Bloodhound Gang]

My little brother's friend is over right now and they've been arguing back and forth in the other room, driving me ever-lovin' nuts. On top of that, I've argued off and on with my mom today about stuff that I'd rather not go into. (Nothing major.. just my frickin' life and all)

I am however enjoying the nice rain that we got today -- I went out and walked in it for about 15 minutes and got soaked, it was beautiful.

Right now I'm listening to a mixed CD.. the song in particular is The Bad Touch by the Bloodhound Gang. If you haven't heard it, I recommend hearing it.. as a matter of fact, go look the lyrics up right now. Go on, go do it. I'm waiting... :P. It's a crude song in the sense that the song is nothing but illusions of a sexual nature. But don't consider me perverse, it's a comical factor.

The friend is leaving! Peace and quiet, YES!

Anyway, that nice little babysitting job I was talking about in a previous post? Well.. uhm.. it looks like it's non-existant now. Mainly because the lady said she thought that I was going to be reliable and such, but then she called me yesterday and I told her that I was still interested in watching her kids during the week, but that I wanted to hold off on starting that until I knew for a fact when I'd be starting driver's ed (yes, I am a reject that cannot yet drive, don't rub it in, it's already embarrassing) and that I may get an actual job type job sometime soon. So she went off on my mom this morning saying that she was glad that she didn't commit to me and pull her kids out of their Prime Time daycare program and all this junk. So I have no clue as to if I'm even still in the picture. And the thought of making money again was so nice... GAH!

[music |Stupify - Disturbed]

IT'S RAINING!! And it has been for like... the past three hours! Ahh it's so amazing. It's about damn time we got some rain; aside from what.. last week or the week before(?) we haven't gotten substantial rain in months.

It's been thundering off and on as well.. perfect weather to be watching the first Halloween movie while being home alone, I tell you. I have about half an hour left of the movie to watch, but I took a break to get on here to add friends and reply and get into trouble as I'm prone to do on the net. When I get off here it'll be back to watching the unjust slaughtering at the hands of Michael Myers.

On another note, today is the five year anniversary of the September 11th attacks. It's really hard to believe that five years have already gone by.

The whole babysitting thing went well, I made $24.00 which is awesome considering I sat on the couch doing next to nothing for about 4 hours. This morning my mom talked to the lady I babysat for and she said that the (two) kids loved me. I don't know why.. they were up for an hour while I was there and then they were in bed asleep for the rest of the time. Go figure? I like them though, they're good kids.

Anyway, this entry is long enough as it is so I'll end it and find something more productive to do.. like spinning in circles or staring at the sun (when it decides to come out). Adios!

Hump Day [Sep. 6th, 2006|05:44 pm]

[music |Therapy - Smile Empty Soul]

Hmm... Wednesday... Hump Day.. the middle of the week. Normally I'd totally be looking forward to the weekend - particularly Saturday - but not this week. On Saturday I'll be babysitting my neighbor's two boys; one of them is in Pre-K I believe, and the other in third or fourth grade. The fact that I'm going to be babysitting doesn't bother me, it's the fact that it looks like I won't be able to see two of my best friends because of it. I know, I know.. I have such a rotten, horrible, miserable life *sarcasm*, bite me.
On another note, I'm hoping that my best friend, we'll call her Ducky (I prefer not to use names.. I won't even use my own on the Internet), will eventually get an LJ so that I have at least one person communicating with me on here.
Anyway, I'm off to look at interests and stuff to see if I can find any friends on here. Yay friends!

Ok, as I told a few friends at bowling night/day on Sunday, here is my new LJ. It was either make an LJ or get a Myspace and I think Myspace is overrated and stupid so the choice was obvious lol. Anyway... I unfortunately don't know anybody's LJ username so I'm kind of screwed and alone on here for the time being. So smart of me to not ask anyone for their name ::banging head against wall.:: So yea.. until I get some friends on here, this is all for my first post yep.. enjoy!
